This book was fun！ Penelope and Hayden are best friends but things didn't start out like that， Hayden was Penelope's brother Travis' best friend first。 But Travis leaves Seattle for Vegas in order to make it big as an MMA fighter and asks Hayden to look after his little sister。 Penelope was a figure skater and number 1 in the whole world while Hayden was trying to develop his dating app。 At first Penelope and Hayden could barely stand to be in each other's presence because he had to look after h This book was fun！ Penelope and Hayden are best friends but things didn't start out like that， Hayden was Penelope's brother Travis' best friend first。 But Travis leaves Seattle for Vegas in order to make it big as an MMA fighter and asks Hayden to look after his little sister。 Penelope was a figure skater and number 1 in the whole world while Hayden was trying to develop his dating app。 At first Penelope and Hayden could barely stand to be in each other's presence because he had to look after her and she blamed him for Travis leaving。 After a breakup， Penelope calls Hayden to pick her up and from there， they started to develop a friendship。 Years later， Hayden is now a billionaire and Penelope a figure skating coach， they spend almost all their time either talking， texting or together。 Hayden is still giving Penelope advice about all the men she dates and he's forever having to send off apology letters or notes to people he's offended。 I loved how comfortable they were with each other， Penelope and Hayden were honest to each other about everything except for how they felt about one another。 I did love how the story went back and forth between the past and the present because it shows how deep their friendship truly is and how it became what it is now。 I loved the whole Tinder thing and how it weaved through the story。 I liked Hayden， he was a cocky bastard but he cared about Penelope and did so much for her over the years because he loved her。 Penelope was a smart and talented woman who wanted to skate and beat her mom's figure skating record。 She was a romantic and loved love and just wanted to find the one。 When Penelope and Hayden do finally get together， it is everything and more， it's like they unleashed something in one another。 They spend all day， everyday together having sex， traveling the world just having fun。 They soared so high that when they fall back down it crashed spectacularly。 I was sad for the both of them because of how much they love each other。 Hayden groveling to Penelope to get her back was sweet and after everything was said and done， they knew that they belonged together。 I really enjoyed this book， and the chemistry between Penelope and Hayden。 I think Travis deserves his own book and even Tatianna， Penelope's other best friend/ex-frenemy。 。。。more

Couldn’t put it down I laughed so hard on some parts， I loved the banter they had it was so funny 。 I couldn’t put it down once I started chapter one 。 The sexually tension was so good。 I couldn’t wait for them to get it on ，& man Hayden didn’t disappoint at all！ Such hot scenes I had to cool myself down 。 Definitely a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me 。

I'm one of those people who has a really hard time leaving a book after I started it， even if I'm not entirely liking it！ Whitney is one of those authors who I mostly like her stories because they're normally a quick fun read， but this book was soooooooo long， even if it was mostly blank pages that I just don't understand （I'm glad most of the reading is done by iPad now， because her books would make the forest cry big time with all the empy blank pages in her books）， but I digress， back to the I'm one of those people who has a really hard time leaving a book after I started it， even if I'm not entirely liking it！ Whitney is one of those authors who I mostly like her stories because they're normally a quick fun read， but this book was soooooooo long， even if it was mostly blank pages that I just don't understand （I'm glad most of the reading is done by iPad now， because her books would make the forest cry big time with all the empy blank pages in her books）， but I digress， back to the point， this story dragged toooooooo much， and then at the end it seemed like it was in a hurry to tie up the ending！The characters were all so messed up that I'm having a hard time deciding if it would be a phychiatrist dream or nightmare！She is so clingy， emotionally dependent， incapable of decision making and mostly inmature， no to mention how she completely abandon all her responsibilities to follow the boyfriend in turn around like a puppy！ I actually don't dislike her too much， her history is so tragic and traumatic that I actually understand and I'm not surprised by most of her behavior， she clearly has really BIG abandonment issues， no surprising！Hayden was mostly well adjusted even if he too had a tragic story （but not as awful and cruel as hers）， but he was pretty dependant on her too; she needed to be always a damsel in distress （over the most ridiculous and inappropriate things） and he always had to come the rescue！And don't get me started on the brother！ He's a clinical case！ He's so selfish， self absorbed， delusional， power hungry and borderline phychotic （not to mention almost homicidal）， that I'm pretty sure he must have some brain damage from all the hits！The one I really liked was the roommate， she was so sweet and loyal！ The assistant was pretty good too， she was very funny！ If there is a series I hope both of them have their stories！ 。。。more

I like friends to lovers romance。 I like how their friendship evolve throughout the story。 It began since Penelope was in high school until her 20s。 I like the time span so much that I give this book 5 stars。 I really felt their connection because of all the years they’ve known each other。 It made me believe in their love and it made believe a playboy like Hayden can fall in love and stay commit to Penelope。
